History of Telangana State Chapter IRIA
Andrapradesh State bifurcated in to two Telugu separate sates on 2nd June, 2014. New Telangana 29th State with Hyederabad as capital formed on 2nd June, 2014.
General body of A.P Chapter IRIA held on 12th Nov 2014 at IRIA office, KREST resolved to form two separate independent state chapters of IRIA. A.P Chapter name has been changed to Telangana State Chapter and submitted to the cooperative society of registrations on 24-02-2015. The cooperative society of registrations has officially registered as Telanagna State Chapter of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association on 24-02-2015.
New IRIA office (IRIA House) was inaugurated by Mr. Vishweshwar Reddy, Member of Parliament, Chevella constituency on 18th February, 2018 at Banjara Hills.

Dr. T Narsinga Reddy is the First President and Dr. Ravuri Power is the General Secretary for the new Telangana State Chapter of IRIA elected in 2015. Dr. K Prabhakar Reddy has been appointed as chairman of IRIA House committee.
